Tanesha Jackson

2017 Grand Marshal

To say the past two years have been truly a fairy tale would be an understatement. Mrs. Tanesha Jackson aka Miss Anastasia Love has been performing for two years as a femme entertainer. But before becoming a femme performer and a former national title holder she was a plus model and actress for six years. Signed with two agencies Beauty Queen Management in Los Angeles, CA & Colours Modeling agency in Memphis where she participated in many runway shows, and print campaigns and was a writer for several online & printed magazines. Knowing that she didn’t take this journey likely she supported the local drag community by attending shows before she decided to do it on her own. Miss Love decided to compete in the Tennessee Regional Femme ANS pageant in September of 2015 and won, seven months later competed at nationals on the 28th of April won the pageant, and won three overall categories. Since her win she has been promoting all across the United States, attending benefits in her city, attending Mid-South pride, and Nashville pride, and posting videos called “Spilling the tea with me on Facebook” Miss Love has continued to make her presence known in the community. Outside of performing on Fridays, Saturdays, and some Thursdays, you can catch her strutting on the runway, shooting for magazines, preparing for future acting work in her spare time, and now as an empty nester completing her college degree.
